Repository downloads

See Global flags for JSON output and workspace/repository selection.

Manage the files in a repository’s Downloads section (release archives, installers, and other build artifacts).

Terminal window
bb repo downloads list [options]
Option Description Default
--limit <number> Maximum number of downloads 25
--all List every download (overrides --limit)
Terminal window
bb repo downloads list
bb repo downloads list --json --jq '.downloads[].name'

The table shows name, size in bytes, download count, uploader, and upload date. The --json envelope is { workspace, repoSlug, count, downloads }; each download object includes its links.self.href URL.

Terminal window
bb repo downloads upload <files...>
Option Description
--dry-run Print the write request instead of sending it (details)

Uploads one or more local files in a single request. Each artifact is named after the file’s basename, and an existing artifact with the same name is replaced.

Terminal window
bb repo downloads upload dist/app-1.0.0.tar.gz
bb repo downloads upload build/*.zip

--json emits { success, workspace, repoSlug, uploaded }, where uploaded lists the artifact names. A missing file, a directory, or two files sharing a basename fails before anything is sent.

The upload gets the HTTP timeout (30 seconds by default, see BB_HTTP_TIMEOUT) plus transfer time for the total file size at 32 KiB/s, so large artifacts do not need a raised timeout. BB_HTTP_TIMEOUT=0 disables it.

Terminal window
bb repo downloads delete <filename> --yes
Option Description
-y, --yes Skip the confirmation prompt (required when not in an interactive terminal)
--dry-run Print the write request instead of sending it (details)

--json emits { success, workspace, repoSlug, filename }.
